North Fork Logger's Jamboree (1st Weekend in July)
This lively annual event located at the North Fork Recreation Center, pays tribute to the loggers of time past and those still keeping the tradition alive today. Participants in the Jamboree help us appreciate and honor the loggers craft and hard work, while keeping us entertained throughout the competition.

The Sierra Mono Museum invites one and all to share in the celebration of our heritage and culture at the 45th Annual Indian Fair Days & Pow Wow – held the first weekend of August each year.
Ross Cabin Plus Tour with Connie Popelish
Saturday, August 31, 2024 - 9:00 am
Meet at the CDC Office at the Old Mill Site Conference Room in North Fork
After an introduction and a 10-minute video, we will carpool to the Ross Cabin (about a 25-minute drive). The tour will include the present and original sites of the cabin, a visit to the graves of Jesse Ross, Julia Bell Ross Hallock, and George Hallock on the Apple Ranch.
The owners of Noma Resort will give us a short tour of the property and we will picnic at one of the ponds they have developed. Bring a sack lunch, walking shoes, hat, etc. We will have water.
Connie is a former Sorest Service Archeologist and was a prime mover in relocating the cabin to its present site.

Sierra Art Trails (October)
The Sierra Art Trails Op0en Studio Tour gives art enthusiasts the chance to see fine art and fine crafts in the making, and to purchase works directly from the people who create them. The show takes place in homes, studios, galleries, and businesses in more than a dozen communities in Eastern Madera and Mariposa Counties.
Sierra Vista Scenic Byway Annual Meeting
